Ever since Rhys arrived on H&A, it was rumoured they went out together. The rumours turned out to be true, when they finally announced their relationship at the TV Week Logie Awards in May 2006. They had been together since Februarythe same year. Sadly the lovely couple broke up in November 2006, but the rumours said they still had an on-and-off relationship. They are to this day still great friends.
