About

For many years I watched the australian drama Home and Away. I soon started watching the episodes airing in Australia, meaning episodes miles ahead of the ones screening here. I caught a interest in Rhys Wakefield who played Lucas Holden, there was something unique about him. As I didn’t find any good up-to-date fansite for him, like I could find for other celebs, the idea of starting my own fansite was set to life. In August 2007 my fansite rhyswakefield.net went online as a MSN Group, as I already had experience with that site builder. MSN closed down their Groups service in February 2009, so I had to move my site to keep it alive. I always wanted to make my site into a HTML site, and now my dream have finally come true with a lot of help from Leanne. Charming Rhys was finally up and running in February 2009, hosted by Starszz.

In March 2009, Dean joined the staff (that only consisted of me), and helped me keep the site updated. The site was converted to wordpress in August 2009, and  that made the site a lot easier to update. Also in August, I moved away to go to a new school, so I had less time to update the site, luckily Dean was here to update the visitors. Unfortunately Dean suddenly disappeared from the site after a month, and since then I’ve never heard from him. About the same time I began to update more frequently, and since then I’ve updated the site whenever there’s anything to update about.

I decided to change the site name from Charming Rhys to Rhys Wakefield Source when the site had it´s four year anniversary in August 2011.
